Answer 1:
The Doctrine of Signatures
predates
homeopathy and was already mentioned in the writings of
Paracelsus von Hohenheim (1493 – 1541).
The idea was popularized by the
writings of the German herbalist Jaskob Bohme (1575-1624). As a result of
a vision he wrote ‘Signatura Rerum; The Signature of All Things’. This
espoused a spiritual philosophy but was
soon adopted for medicinal
applications. The Doctrine states that by observation one can determine
from the colour of the flowers or roots, the shape of leaves, and place of
growing, or other signatures, what the plant’s purpose was in God’s plan.
Even though the Doctrine was a product of medieval alchemists and
herbalists, a similar belief was held by Native Americans and Oriental
cultures. Today there is still a similar belief among old-timers in the
Appalachian region.

Answer 2: Simply, we
believe that less is more. Plain, simple and pure. What makes us truly
different from the commercially manufactured products is that we make our
own base, meaning we don’t start with a white chemical base and then add the
natural ingredients, that is why our creams are
not white… our base is from the extracts from the plants we use.
Answer 3: Yes, yes, yes they sure do
and we're proud of it!
For us to
extend the shelf life of our products would mean higher heats
for a longer period of time and or the use of chemicals.
Basically, for the herbs we use to work effectively - they don't
like either. Our products are recommended to be used within 3 months
of purchase. If you find our product in your cupboard (not in
your bathroom! - the worst place for any cream) and it
has been there for while, it will likely be discoloured (darker)
hence why we choose to use the smaller package size. We actually
like to promote that our products do expire sooner and don't
last for years. In fact, to us, it would be similar to comparing
the nutrient content of fresh vegetables to processed
or preserved vegetables.
Answer 4: Our Healing Cream has proven time and time again to help in the
healing of eczema and psoriasis.
Answer 5:
Our products are made in rural Southern Ontario, just
south east
of
London, Ontario. JAYDANCIN is a Canadian owned company
with
clients across Canada, the US and Europe

Answer
6:
We are advocates for
pure and natural. We
work with local farmers/suppliers who
organically
grow
and
harvest
(sometimes wild crafted) the herbs which we use to make our products
onsite.
With the extracts from the herbs/plants, we use
certified
organic
sunflower oil
as our base ingredient
along with organic secondary oils, and essential oils
as you will see in our ingredients listed beside our products.
Not only is our products natural, but the process we use to make
our creams is very traditional and extreme care is applied in
every aspect from preparation,
temperature control to the equipment we use.
Answer
7:
The goal of JAYDANCIN is not only to offer clients the very best in health
care for the skin, but to also educate clients to carefully read the labels
of products they purchase. To us, it is just as important to be mindful of
what you put on your skin as it is to what you put in your body.
Answer
8:
As our products are all natural, they are very safe for your children. The
Healing Cream is
known to be especially good for diaper rash
and children with psoriasis, eczema or skin conditions.
Answer
9:
The remedy for a particular
skin issue is based on the herbs and plants and the
essential oils used in the recipes and formulations
based on the Doctrine of Signatures. For example, the Deep
Relief has ingredients such as cayenne, mustard, ginger which are all active
‘hot’ ingredients that will go to work for you in the cellular level to
treat a particular ache or pain.

10:
You will find us in Holistic Centres, Chiropractors and Naturopath’s
offices, Health Food Stores, Spas and some boutiques. You can now order on
line, or call to find a location near you.
Answer 11:
Evidence abounds of the healing powers of handmade natural products,
particularly when essential oils are included.
Eczema and psoriasis
sufferers, as well as people that have sensitive skin or are hypoallergenic
often find immediate relief by using natural products.
Our theory is if the prescriptions aren't working, why not try something
else?
Answer 12:
There
is
lots of
controversy
from both sides
regarding the use of natural
borax. As for our
stand, as traditionalists, we don't have a problem with natural borax
when used properly.- However,
this being said, Jaydancin
is already
eliminating borax and fragrance oils from its products with the goal of strictly using
plant based products, essential
oils, vitamins and shortening shelf life of most of our natural
cream products to approximately three months. More and more we are
striving to create and share great products that exceed anything on
the market just by simply working with the natural properties of the plants.
Answer 13
Yes, it's very true, if
the
natural ingredients such as,
for example,
herbs are prepared in metallic vats or pots
that the oils and some properties of the herbs are altered or removed
due to the properties in the metals. Also,
as with vegetables, if you boil
(or dare to use a microwave!)
your herbs or
overheat your oils,
you lose many (if not all)
essential properties of the herbs
and oils
you use or worse, you could alter the
original objective that was intended for the herbs
and oils.
